Solar Village®

Within the traditional modular construction industry, there are very few that have turnkey "green" homes, right off the shelf. One company, within our 500 Mile radius requirement (LEED score) has developed a green line of homes called Solar Village. That company is All American Homes, specifically, their factory in VA called Mod-U-Kraf. Finish Werks has an exclusive builder/dealer arrangement for Solar Village homes. View them below:

Other Off-the-shelf Modular Solutions

Tapping the few manufacturers that can build green customized to our spec is an alternative. I hold this option out to bid the project to other companies not out of any disloyalty to Mod-U-Kraf, but for the very real need to access alternatives in the face of uncertainty (deliverables, costing). Essentially, pick ANY modular floor plan on the Internet. and build green features to conform with LEED for Homes scoring (MSExcel file).
